2024 New Faculty Orientation – The Road to ECU
The Office for Faculty Excellence (OFE) team is excited about welcoming you to the Pirate Faculty family during New Faculty Orientation (NFO). Please mark your calendars for August 12th and August 13th to join us for two full days of networking with colleagues, learning about resources and opportunities at ECU, and getting started as an ECU employee.
This year, we are using “The Road to ECU” theme for New Faculty Orientation, so be on the lookout for navigation-related takes on the NFO experience. This summer, our NFO Road to ECU platform (aka the NFO 2024 Road to ECU website) is your GPS for learning how to prepare for the fall semester.
Each week (starting this Thursday), you will receive an email with four New Guides that will generally fall into six categories: Travel Guide, On Location, New Faculty Check Points, Community Attractions, What Drives Pirate Nation, and Start Your Engines. You can view the newsletters in the weekly email or visit the NFO 2024 website to see the new guides released each week, as well as read previously released guides. These are designed to be short, and we encourage you to follow along as we make our way down The Road to ECU.
