Community Expert: ECU Community Partnerships
This week on Community Expert, learn more about ECU’s presence in Eastern North Carolina and the partnerships we foster.
East Carolina University has a major role in Eastern North Carolina. The three pillars of ECU’s mission are student success, regional transformation, and public service. To accomplish this mission, ECU builds relationships throughout Greenville, Pitt County, and the region.
Intersect East is a collaboration between ECU and Elliott Sidewalk Communities and will be the “gateway to Uptown Greenville.” The multi-acre complex will have commercial, research, and living spaces. Ground broke on the project in 2021. As you drive on 10th street towards ECU from Highway 264, you will see the brick warehouses being developed into Intersect.
